A toy story birthday.

Last weekend the kids had their combined birthday party. We did a Toy Story theme this year since they both are OBSESSED with Buzz, Woody, Jessie and the gang.

Here is the invitation...

and Gavin's cake...Not quite how I wanted it to turn out, but he loved it and that is all that matters, right?

Bekah's cake...I really was happy with this one :)

Gavin was so excited to blow out his candle...I can't believe that he will be FIVE on the fifteenth!!

This picture of Bekah was taken right after I had lit the candle. We hadn't even sang the birthday song yet. She was excited, I guess :) So I did light it again, but this time we sang the song BEFORE I actually lit the candle!

The kids had a great time even though the weather was yucky outside. They had tons and tons of gifts (worse than Christmas time!) and way too many cupcakes.

I would post more pictures of the party and the gift opening, but Blogger is being fickle about loading up pictures so I thought I would stop while I was ahead. :)

sooo cute! they're going to really remember stuff like this... sam still talks about the ladybug cake (ugly as heck, but she loved it) that i made for her second birthday! and your cakes are a hundred times better than what i had going on. lol can't wait to see the layouts you create with these pics!
